For those of you who get my emails, you think I’m in New York. Hehe. I got my dates mixed up; I am in South Carolina. Good thing I got it straightened out!

I’m at Columbia International University in Columbia, South Carolina. Before I left, I emailed our contacts in this area asking if anyone wanted to meet. The response was great AND I’ve been meeting with new contacts that want to know more about PI and the Edge. I’ve had several meetings with people that were interested in serving overseas but wanted to know how they could. I spoke with one student this morning about support raising and trusting God. I had coffee with two girls that are looking for how they could serve God this summer.

Tonight, I’m meeting with a couple that want to go overseas longterm, but would like to work in the US for a year or two mobilizing others, maybe even with the Edge. I’m traveling with one of my co-workers. Our time together has been very precious as well. God has given us a true unity on this trip that is almost unreal.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with a studentĀ in the morning, a presentation during lunch, and a missions dinner to attend. Will you please continue to pray for us for:

– Continued divine appointments

– That we would be sensitive to the HS’s leading in our conversations

– That our lunch presentation tomorrow would be well attended

I’m up at Moody Bible Institute’s annual missions conference. I’m here with 3 other PI reps. It has been great! I’ve gotten to talk with so many students who are being called to serve overseas. They are all over the spectrum. Some that want to talk think they know exactly where they want to go, when and how. They have it all planned out! Then, the next person I talk to has no idea where, when or how, they just know they are supposed to go. We are getting to mentor them in the process.

That’s one thing I really love about the Edge and PI, everything is a journey and we’re here to help each other, pray with and mentor each other into the throne room of God.

Please be praying for us! We’ll be meeting with more students tonight and tomorrow before flying home tomorrow night. I will also be meeting with one of the TESOL professors in the morning to talk about how our summer trips can meet some of the internship requirements that students in his department have.

TTFN! (Ta Ta For Now!)
